Mizoram Board Exam 2026 - The Mizoram board conducts the exams for HSLC and HSSLC every year. About Mizoram Board

Mizoram Board of School Education is responsible for creating the syllabus and designing the question papers for classes 10th and 12th every year. The syllabus PDF and question paper PDFs are uploaded online to be downloaded by the students. The class 10 exam is known as HSLC in Mizoram and the class 12 exams are called HSSLC. 100 marks are allotted for every subject included in the curriculum for both classes 10th and 12th however these marks are divided between theory and practical sessions. About Mizoram HSLC

The class 10th exams in Mizoram state are known as HSLC. MBSE HSLC exams will be conducted in March 2026. There are five main subjects included in the curriculum for HSLC exams. Two language subjects and three elective subjects are included in the curriculum. Each theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks except for the Science paper which will include theory and practical exams and the theory exam for science will be conducted for only 70 marks. Mizoram HSLC, HSSLC Syllabus 2026

MBSE releases the syllabus for HSLC and HSSLC. The board aims at providing updated knowledge to students. For each subject, the syllabus PDF is uploaded online. There are a certain number of marks required by the students to successfully be eligible for the passing certificate. The passing marks for classes 10th and 12th are similar. A candidate shall be declared to have passed the exams if he/she obtains :

• At least 33% of total marks in each theory paper.
• At least 33% of total marks in each practical paper.
• At least 33% of the aggregate marks.
• At least a ‘D’ grade in the internally assessed subjects.
• A candidate shall be required to pass separately in Theory, Practical, Internal Assessments, and Annual/Board examinations.

In addition to the result announcement, the Mizoram board will also announce the names of toppers. The board will release the MBSE HSLC Toppers List and MBSE HSSLC 12th Toppers separately.
