The MAT 2025 September session paper-based exam was held on September 21, 2025. According to early reactions from test-takers, the overall difficulty level was moderate, with Language Comprehension and Mathematics being the most challenging sections. For the PBT exam, the last date to apply was September 15, 2025, and the admit cards were released on September 18, 2025. Meanwhile, for the CBT exam, the registration window remains open until today, September 22, 2025. Admit cards will be issued from September 25, 2025, and the exam will be conducted on September 28, 2025. The results of the MAT 2025 September session are expected to be announced by the second week of October 2025.
Earlier, the MAT 2025 July session results were declared on July 24, 2025. The July session CBT exam was conducted on July 20, 2025, with admit cards released on July 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM onwards. Registrations for the July session closed on July 14, 2025, and the special drive registration has also ended. The May session was conducted on June 8, 2025.
Graduates and final-year students from any discipline could apply for MAT 2025 by creating a login on the official website. The registration fee for a single test (IBT/CBT/PBT) was INR 2,100, while appearing for both CBT and PBT cost INR 3,300. Conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) since 1988, MAT is a national-level MBA entrance exam accepted by over 800 B-Schools for admission to MBA, PGDM, and allied programs. It is held four times a year in May, September, December, and February.
