CLAT 2025 Question Paper

  • In total, there were 120 questions in the CLAT 2025 question paper
  • The Current Affairs with General Knowledge segment had a blend of questions on recent events and Static GK, and were mostly passage-based. Important topics included the Olympics, the Women’s Reservation Bill, the BRICS summit, the Abrogation of Article 370, and the Civil Disobedience movements.
  • The Legal Reasoning segment had questions on the POCSO Act, Fundamental Duty, Anti-Cheating Bill, Contract Act, GI Tag, Right to Privacy, etc.
  • In Logical Reasoning, most questions were based on the provided passage content. Common areas included seating arrangements, puzzles, inference, assumption, argument evaluation, etc.
  • The English part was easy, with the passages being short and direct. The questions were excerpt-based on personalities like Swami Vivekananda, George Orwell, and J. Krishnamurti, among others.
  • The Quantitative Techniques paper was easy to moderate. The problems were on concepts like Percentages, Ratios & Proportions, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Data Interpretation, and Statistics.

CLAT 2024 Question Paper

  • A total of 120 questions were asked in CLAT UG 2024.
  • The English Language section had passages on Article on Contemporary Literature, Legal Sytems / Justice, Fiction-based etc.
  • The Current Affairs with General Knowledge segment had questions from passages based on General History, General polity, Chandrayan 3 Launch, Israel - Hamas conflict, G-20 summit.
  • The Legal Reasoning part had questions from passages on Defamation (Online Intermediaries), Press and Registration of Periodicals, Void and Voidable Marriages, Digital Personal Data Protection, Juvenile Justice etc.

CLAT 2023 Question Paper

  • There were 150 questions overall in CLAT UG 2023.
  • Candidates found the paper lengthy and the difficulty level was moderate.
  • The Legal Reasoning sections were easy to attempt, while the Current Affairs with General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning were pretty challenging.

CLAT 2022 Question Paper

  • The English Language part had questions from passages which were based on Public Speaking, Cryptocurrencies, the Modern animal rights movement, COVID-19 19 etc. This section was easy to moderate but lengthy.
  • The Quantitative Techniques segment had questions based on Data Interpretation, Percentages, Profit and Loss etc and were easy to attempt.
  • Legal Reasoning had 5 questions each from passages on the Constitution: Fundamental Rights and Reasonable Restrictions, Penal Law and Personal Laws related to Bigamy and Levy of Taxes on Religious Denominations, Special Marriage Law, Contract Law: Void and Voidable Contracts, Public International Law: Theories of Relationship between International Law and Municipal Law, Environmental Jurisprudence: Doctrines, Law of Writs (Constitutional) etc.
