TS EDCET 2026 Result: Tie Breaking Policy

As mentioned earlier a merit list is prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the TS EDCET 2026 entrance. Therefore, an inference can be drawn that the candidates are provided with respective ranks. The question arises when two candidates score the same marks. In that case, the marks scored by them in Part C of the question paper are taken into account. In case of a further tie, the marks scored by the candidates in Part A are taken into account to prepare the rank list.

There might be a case where even after following the procedures mentioned in the paragraph above, the tie remains. To resolve such an issue, the ages of the candidates are compared. The older candidates are given priority.

What after TS EDCET 2026 Result?

Once the TS EDCET 2026 result is released, candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks can register for TS EDCET 2026 counselling. The counselling process will be carried out in 2 to 3 rounds. It is to be noted that the allotment of seats is done through the counselling process. 

Aspirants who obtain seat allotment as per the respective rounds of counselling have to report to the specified colleges for document verification and other formalities of the admission process.
