About NEET PG Cutoff 2026

The NEET PG Cutoff 2026 will be released for each category. For the General category students, the NEET PG 2026 cut off marks is 276. For the SC/ST/OBC Category students, the cutoff is 235 marks. For the PwD Category, it is 255 marks. Students who have secured a NEET PG score in the above-mentioned range will be eligible to participate in the NEET PG 2026 counselling. The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) determines the cutoff marks of NEET PG 2026 based on the NEET PG 2026 Result. 

The branch-wise NEET PG 2026 cutoff will be released shortly. The NEET PG 2026 Cutoff percentile is 50th for general, 45th for EWS, and 40th for the SC/ST/OBC students. The cutoff varies every year depending on several factors such as overall exam difficulty level, students’ performance in the exam, seat availability, previous years’ trends, etc. A total of 42,717 seats will be offered based on the NEET PG 2026 cutoff.

What After the NEET PG Cutoff 2026 is Released?

Once the NEET PG cutoff 2026 is released, all the eligible students will be required to participate in the counselling sessions. Along with the cutoff marks, the National Board of Examinations for Medical Science (NBEMS) will release a NEET PG 2026 Merit List containing the names of students who scored the cutoff marks of NEET PG 2026. The counselling process is conducted primarily in 3 rounds. An additional stray vacancy round is performed in case of vacant seats. The counselling process will be conducted in online mode, in various stages, such as registration, choice-filling and choice-locking, seat allocation, and final document verification.
