Lastly, there will be very long answer-type questions for 8 marks each, which will also include internal choices. AP SSC Math Important Questions 2026 of 1 Mark

The very first section of the question paper will consist of objective-type questions, which will mainly be MCQs. Each MCQ will carry one mark. There will be no internal choices present in this section. You can refer to important questions for one mark below:

Question 1: Find the HCF of 60 and 100 by using Euclid's division lemma.

Question 2: Choose the correct option satisfying the following statements.

Statement (A): The Number of maximum zeroes of a cubic polynomial is 3.

Statement (B): Zero of a linear polynomial x -2 is –2.

i) Both (A) and (B) are TRUE.

ii) (A) is TRUE, (B) is FALSE

iii) (A) is FALSE, (B) is TRUE.

iv) Both (A) and (B) are FALSE

Question 3: p(x) = x2 − 5x + 6 then p(3) = .......... ( )

A) 1 B) 2 C) 0 D) -2

Question 4: Find the area of a semicircle whose radius is 7 cm.

Question 5: A box contains 3 blue and 4 red balls. What is the probability that the ball taken out randomly will be red?

Question 6: Find the volume of a right circular cone with radius 3 cm and height 14 cm.

Question 7: Write A = {1, 4, 9, 16, 25} in set-builder form.

Question 8: The larger of two supplementary angles exceeds the smaller by 58°, then find the angles.

Question 9: Draw a rough diagram of the given situation.

"A person observed a top of a tree 10 m. away from its foot at the angle of elevation is 450."

Question 10: Distance between the points (0,0) and (cosα, a sinα ) is …. ( )

AP SSC Math Important Questions 2026 of 2 Marks

Very short answer-type questions for 2 marks will also be included in the question paper. These questions will be present in the very second section of the question paper, in which you are required to answer all 8 questions. No internal choices are included in this section, so make sure to read the instructions very carefully. Check out some important questions for 2 marks below:

Question 1: In the construction of a kitchen shed at school, a truck unloaded the sand, which was formed in the shape of a cone. The base radius of the cone is 2.7 m., and its height is 7 m. Find the volume of sand unloaded there.

Question 2: Which of these are arithmetic progressions and why?

a) 2,3,5,7,8,10,15,…………

b) 2,5,7,10,12,15……………

Question 3: Write the formula to find the Median of grouped data and explain the terms in it.

Question 4: Rehman observed the top of a temple at an angle of elevation of 30°, when the observation point was 24 m. away from the foot of the temple. Find the height of the temple.

Question 5: Find the zeroes of the polynomial x2- 3 and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients.

Question 6: Express as Algebraic expressions the following.

(i) Five times a number, when increased by 10, gives 20.

(i) The digits in the ones and tens places of a two-digit number are 'x' and 'y; then find the number.

Question 7: The Length of a rectangle is 2 units greater than its breadth. If the area of the rectangle is 120 sq. units, then find its length.

Question 8: Write the formula to find the mean of grouped data in the direct method, and explain the terms in it

AP SSC Math Important Questions 2026 of 4 Marks

In the second last section of the question paper, you will find long-answer type questions for 4 marks each. In this section, you will not find any internal choices, so you must prepare well. You can check out some important questions for 4 marks below:

Question 1: If A = {x:x is a factor of 6}, B = {x:x is a positive even number less than 10}, then find (i) AUB, (ii) ANB, (iii) А-В by Venn diagram.

Question 2: One card is drawn from a well–shuffled deck of 52 cards. Calculate the probability that the card will (i) be an ace, (ii) not be an ace

Question 3: Find the 10th and nth term of G.P. 5, 25, 125,.....

Question 4: A tree breaks due to a storm, and the broken part bends so that the top of the tree touches the ground at making 30° angle with the ground. The distance between the foot of the tree and the top of the tree on the ground is 6 m. Find the height of the tree before it falls.

Question 5: Show that √3 is irrational.

Question 6: Show that the cube of any positive integer is of the form 9m or 9m +1 or 9m + 8, where m is an integer.

AP SSC Math Important Questions 2026 of 8 Marks

In the last section, you will find very long answer-type questions for 8 marks. In this section, you will find internal choices present in each question, so you must only attempt to solve one out of the two questions given. A total of five questions are to be answered. Question 1: Two cubes, each of volume 64 cm³, are joined end to end. Find the lateral surface area and total surface area of the resulting Cuboid

Question 2: E and F are points on the sides PQ and PR, respectively, of ∆PQR. For each of the following, state whether EFIIQR or not?

i) PE = 3.9 cm EQ = 3 cm PF = 3.6 cm and FR = 2.4 cm.

Question 3: One card is drawn from a well-shuffled deck of 52 cards. Find the probability of getting:

(i) A Queen of Black Colour

(iii) a red face card

(ii) a face card

(iv) a red jack.

Question 4: If the sum of the first 'n' terms of an A.P. is 4n-n2, what is the first term? What is the

sum of the first two terms? What is the second term? Find the 3rd, the 10th, and the nth terms.

Question 5: Solve the following equations graphically

i) 2x + y - 6 = 0

ii) 4x - 2y - 4 = 0
