Dear Student,
Based on the UPSC CMS exam eligibility criteria, students must have an MBBS degree with 55% marks and must be a minimum of 17 years of age during appearing for the exam. The maximum age limit for appearing in the examination is 32 years. Students who are born before August 2, 1987, are not eligible to appear in the UPSC CMS exam. Therefore, students having a PG degree in Ayurveda Surgery are eligible to appear in the exam. However, there is category-based age relaxation in the UPSC CMS exam. Students can go through the UPSC CMS age relaxation based on the different categories mentioned below.
Category | Age Relaxation |

Unreserved Category | Nil |
Scheduled Caste (SC) | 5 Years |
Scheduled Tribe (ST) | 5 Years |
