YES, To the best of my knowledge, you cannot get admission based on the 12th class marks to the BTech at LPU without any entrance exam. You should have to either qualify for the LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU or should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself.
