The MICAT 2026 cutoff is the minimum score needed to qualify for the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Candidates meeting the required scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT will be shortlisted for these rounds.

MICAT Cutoff 2023

MICAT cutoff 2023 was around 80 to 85 percentile for General category students. Section-wise, the same was 8.5 - 12 marks for Divergent Convergent Thinking, 8 - 10 for Verbal Ability, 6.5 - 7.5 for Quant & DI and 5.5 - 6.5 for GK. MICAT is an MBA entrance exam conducted twice a year by MICA, Ahmedabad, for admission into their two-year PGDM or PGDM Communications programs. To be eligible for MICAT, candidates must have appeared for at least one of the following exams: CAT, XAT, or GMAT. Section-wise MICAT Cutoff 2023

MICAT exam is a CBT (Computer-Based Test) for admission to the PGDM programs, conducted twice a year across 48 cities in India. Candidates can appear for both MICAT I and II, and the higher score between the two will be considered. The MICAT exam pattern is structured into three sections:

  • Section A: Psychometric Test
  • Section B: Descriptive Test
  • Section C: This section includes four sub-sections: Divergent and Convergent Thinking, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Awareness.

To be considered for admission, candidates must meet specific cutoffs in the CAT, XAT, or GMAT exams. Once you meet these cutoffs, your final selection will be determined by a composite score that weighs various components as follows:

  • CAT/XAT/GMAT: 20%
  • MICAT: 30%
  • Group Exercise (GE): 20%
  • Personal Interview (PI): 30%

MICAT Cutoff Previous Year Trends

Over the past few years, the MICA cutoff has shown consistent trends. From 2021 to 2023, the CAT/XAT/GMAT cutoff for the PGDM program remained at 80 percentile for General category students. Similarly, the PGDM in Communications also maintained an 80 percentile cutoff for the same period.
