To tackle situations wherein two or more students have secured the same rank in the entrance exam, a tie-breaking policy is implied by the ABVMU. Refer to the detailed explanation of the tie-breaking criteria as provided below for a deeper understanding:

• In case of a tie, students with higher marks in Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Electronics/Statistics/Psychology in the exam will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, students with higher marks in Chemistry in the exam will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, students with higher marks in Physics in the exam will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, students with higher marks in English, followed by General Knowledge, will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, students who are older in age will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, students with a higher percentage in Class 10th will be given preference over others. 
• If the tie persists, it will be finally resolved by analyzing which among the students has secured a higher percentage in Class 12th.
