The UP CNET 2025 exam was conducted on May 21, 2025. As per the official schedule, the last date for students to accept their seats was August 2, 2025. The mop-up round seat allocation was announced on July 28, 2025. The mop-up round seat resignation and choice filling window was open from July 19 to 25, 2025.

• Applicants need to pass the higher secondary exam in the science stream

• It is mandatory to score 50% marks in the science stream from any recognized board/institution

• The mandatory subjects at the higher secondary level must be Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

• Students who are studying from the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) and the State Government, and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are also eligible to apply for UP CNET 2025

• Step 2: Click on the option “UP CNET New Registration Link”

• Step 3: Enter details like parents’s/guardian names, gender, address, email address, mobile number, etc.

• Step 4: In the next window, create a strong password (make sure to note it down)

• Step 5: Click on the option “Save and Next”

• Step 6: The registration number, ID, and password will be sent to the registered number and email address

• Step 7: Log in with the application number and password

• Step 8: Upload all the documents listed like photograph, signature, and other identification like Aadhar Card/PAN Card/ Voter ID card

• Step 9: Pay the application fee in the next step using any online payment gateway

• Step 10: Take print out for future reference

It is mandatory for the applicants to bring the admit card to the exam centre otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
