TG CPGET Exam Pattern 2026

The TG CPGET, or the Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test examination will be tentatively conducted by Osmania University in August 2026. Students who are planning to appear for the CPGET 2026 exam must be aware of the detailed CPGET 2026 exam pattern, syllabus, etc, to have a clear understanding of the types of questions asked in this state-level entrance examination. The detailed exam pattern will be released in the CPGET 2026 notification. As per the CPGET exam pattern 2026, students will be required to answer a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. The CPGET 2026 exam duration is 90 minutes and will be conducted in CBT mode. Students will be required to answer the CPGET 100-mark question papers, which will consist of 3 or 4 varieties of objective-type questions, like analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/experiment/theoretical point of view, etc.

TS CPGET Course-Wise Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates can check the course-wise CPGET 2026 exam pattern in the following points:

The duration of the TS CPGET exam pattern 2026 for most of the courses is 90 minutes (1 1/2 hours).
The entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration. Except in M.P.Ed. For the entrance test, the question paper consists of 100 objectives (multiple-choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
The entrance exam will include 3 or 4 different types of objective-type items, such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/experiment/theoretical point of view, and so on. Questions in the TS CPGET 2026 paper will be MCQs and will be framed solely from the entrance test syllabus per the TS CPGET 2026 exam pattern.
