NMAT 2021 will be conducted in 68 cities throughout India from January 11 to January 15, 2021. MBA aspirants from all over the country will appear for the NMAT exam with the hopes of admission to many of the top b-schools in India. These include NMIMS Mumbai, ISB Hyderabad, SPJIMR Mumbai, IBS Hyderabad etc. The candidate must qualify in the NMAT 2021 examination and clear the cutoff for their chosen college to be eligible for selection rounds. Admissions through NMAT 2021 are conducted based on the merit of the candidate as per their performance in the examination. How to Check NMAT 2021 Merit List

Candidates who wish to check the merit list for NMAT 2021 must do so through the official websites of individual colleges. Colleges will display the merit list on their respective websites for the viewing of the applicants. Individual colleges will also inform the candidates of their shortlisting and selection via email / SMS. The call letter or invite to the selection rounds is received by the candidate on their registered contacts and they have to report to the centre with all of the supporting documents as well as the call letter. Step 1: Visit the official website of your chosen college.

Step 2: Check the admissions, notification section for news about the release of Merit List for MBA / PGDM admissions.

Step 3: Colleges may require you to log in before providing access to the merit list. The merit list will be available as a PDF file for viewing/download.

Step 4: Search for your name/registration number in the merit list.

Only those colleges will include your name in the merit list for which you have filled the application form. Usually, more than one merit lists are released by the colleges as selection takes place in phases.

Importance of NMAT 2021 Merit List

Since the selection of candidates through NMAT 2021 is performance-based, the merit list plays a very important role in the final selection process. Candidates whose names appear higher on the merit list (or who have a better rank) are given preference during selection. As subsequent merit lists are released, candidates will lower ranks will also get chances of admission if higher-ranking candidates choose not to finalise admission to an allotted seat.
