• Final Answer Key and Results: The NTA will publish the final answer key after all the objections are addressed. Remember, it is the last version, and no further challenge or correction would be entertained at this stage. The results of the NIFT 2026 exam will be announced based on the final answer key.

• Aspirants must enter information such as their NIFT roll number, date of birth, programme, and question booklet series number in order to view the NIFT answer key
• For each objection, the candidate must pay a fee of INR 500
• If an applicant's objection is upheld, they will receive a refund for that specific question. The specific question or answer key will also be changed
• The bank account that the candidate provided on the NIFT exam portal will receive the refund via RTGS
• The fee will not be reimbursed if NIFT subject experts determine that an objection is unfounded
• Every objection must be voiced online. Any objections made through other channels, such as email or postal letter, won't be taken into consideration
• If necessary, the National Institute of Fashion Technology may release a revised NIFT results announcement

The National Institute of Fashion Technology will announce the NIFT 2026 results on its official website. Candidates can log in to the account through email and password and can check for the result. There will be two results for NIFT, one is the NIFT written test result and the other one is the final NIFT result for situation tests, group discussions, and personal interviews.

• Candidates are permitted to take the NIFT 2026 General Ability Test (GAT) question paper back home

Marking Scheme of NIFT 2026 Answer Key

Here’s what you need to know about the marking scheme for NIFT 2026:

• Each question is worth a +1 mark.
• For every correct answer, you will earn one mark.
• If you choose the wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from your total score.
• Questions left unanswered will not affect your score, as no marks are awarded or deducted for them.
• It is important to pick only one correct option per question.

Note: In case of mistakes made in the answer key and your response agrees with the correct response, you will still score marks. Also, if a question is cancelled due to technical problems, all candidates will be awarded full marks, regardless of whether they attempted it or not.
