• The applicants must have BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS/Graded BHMS degree 

OR

• Provisional BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS pass certificate which satisfies the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act provisions along with a provisional or permanent registration certificate of BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS/Graded BHMS qualification degree to be issued by CCH/CCIM/Universities/State Board/Deemed Universities 

AND

• Should have completed a One-Year Internship (or must complete the same prior to the month of September 30th, 2026) can apply for AIAPGET 2026

Some Important Facts About AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Except for the detailed AIAPGET 2026 eligibility criteria given above, there are some important facts about AIAPGET requirements for 2026 that candidates must know. 

• Candidates must fulfil all the eligibility criteria for AIAPGET 2026 exam otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled 

• Application requests of those applicants will be rejected who have completed their internships after the last date, which will be specified by the Ministry of AYUSH

• Applicants with a qualifying degree not approved by the competent authority should not apply for AIAPGET 2026

• At the time of AIAPGET counselling process, the applicants have to submit their original completion certificate of the Compulsory Rotating Internship (which must include the starting and completion date of the internship).

• Some Institutions/Universities do not accept the admission request of those applicants who are still pursuing their PG courses (admission request will be granted post completion of the PG course).

• Candidates currently pursuing Postgraduate courses under the All India/State quota should confirm the AIAPGET 2026 eligibility criteria from the university they want to get into. MoA/NTA/AIIA shall not be held responsible for the same. If candidates fail to meet the university-specific criteria, they will not be granted admission.
