IGNOU Datesheet 2025 - Entrance Test & Semester Exams Date Sheet

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the tentative date sheet for the December 2024 Term End Examination (TEE) for both ODL and online programmes. As per the schedule, the exams will be conducted in two shifts—morning (10 AM to 1 PM) and evening (2 PM to 5 PM)—starting from December 2, 2024, and continuing until January 9, 2025. The date sheet is released twice a year, once for the June TEE and once for the December TEE.

To appear in the TEE, students must submit the examination form. The exam form submission began on September 9, 2024. The last date to fill the form without a late fee was October 15, 2024. However, IGNOU extended the deadline, first till October 27, 2024 (6 PM), and later again until November 3, 2024, without any late fee. Students must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria, including valid course registration, assignment submission, minimum study period completion, and timely fee payment. Hall tickets will only be issued to those fulfilling these requirements.

Students can fill out the exam form online via the Samarth portal at https://ignou.samarth.edu.in or through the IGNOU exam website at https://exam.ignou.ac.in. It's advised to select exam centres early as allocation is done on a first-come, first-served basis. After the theory exams, IGNOU will conduct practical and project exams, likely from January 15 to early February 2025, depending on the programme. As per the tentative IGNOU date sheet released for December 2024 TEE, the exam will begin on December 2 and will conclude on January 9, 2025. Mentioned below are the course-wise exam dates for TEE Dec 2024. 

The university conducts entrance tests for admission in BEd, BSc Nursing and PhD courses. Earlier, the university used to conduct OPENMAT for MBA admission as well but now the exam has been scrapped. IGNOU exam dates for 2025 admission in BEd, BSc Nursing and PhD courses will be released soon.

IGNOU exam form has been released for December term end examination. The last date to fill the exam form is October 31, 2024 (with late fee). Students can fill the examination form via online mode at exam.ignou.ac.in. Only international students and students with special needs are allowed to fill IGNOU exam form via online mode. Only those students who will fill the exam form will be eligible to appear for December TEE.

IGNOU examination fees vary for theory and practical examinations. The university has made revision in the exam fees. Students who have taken admission in January 2023 and later are required to pay project evaluation and practical examination fees.

• Take a printout of the IGNOU exam dates for future references. 

IGNOU exam centers are located all over India as the university has more than 600 exam centres. Students are given the option to choose the IGNOU exam centre while filing the examination form. Usually, students are allotted the exam centre of their choice, therefore students must carefully choose the IGNOU exam centre. If the number of opting for an exam centre is more than its accommodation capacity then students are allotted exam centres on a first cum first serve basis.
