ReportOverall: Annamalai University in Chidambaram is a large, well-regarded institution with a sprawling campus. It offers a wide range of courses across various disciplines, and is known for its strong faculty and relatively low program costs. However, some reviews point to issues with certificate delays, poor customer service, and a lack of responsiveness from administrative staff.
Placement: 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, and NCC Limited. Top roles offered are site engineer, project manager, and structural engineer. 65% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has provided facilities and infrastructure. Everyone can use the internet. It has a huge central library. Classrooms are good, clean, and hygienic. The labs are good. Hostel facilities for both girls and boys are good, and the food served is good. The canteen is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and well-educated. Faculty members here are well-disciplined. Faculty members in our college are friendly. They clarify our doubts. The curriculum is relevant to the subject. Semester exams are easy to pass, and 70% is passing percentage.
Hostel: Course, lab facilities are good but the hostel is the worst. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my stay at the hostel. As a student, I expected a comfortable and conducive environment to focus on my studies. Unfortunately, this hostel has fallen short of my expectations in every aspect. The rooms are cramped, with broken furniture and dirty linens. The bathrooms are poorly maintained, with leaky faucets and unhygienic conditions. The hostel's infrastructure is outdated, with frequent power outages and water supply issues..
