DU UG Admissions 2025: On the Spot Mop-Up Round Allocations Today - Delhi University is set to carry out the on-the-spot mop-up round allocations and admissions today, September 23, 2025. This admission process will take place in person at the Delhi University campus. Candidates who have received the invitation must ensure they report in person to the University on the date and time specified in the invitation letter issued by the University. Under no circumstances will a representative on behalf of the candidate be permitted. Entry to the Multipurpose Hall will only be granted based on the Invitation letter sent by the University. Approximately 7,500 seats remain vacant across various colleges and programs despite several admission cycles. Candidates must bring necessary documents including the Invitation Letter, CSAS(UG) Form, Class XII Marksheet, Class X marksheet, valid ID, and any applicable reservation certificate. Candidates are advised to utilize the Delhi Metro (Yellow line) to reach Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station and to carry essentials as needed. Only the candidate and a maximum of two accompanying persons/guardians will be permitted entry into the University premises.

JMI Begins 2026 Placement Season - The University Placement Cell at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has officially announced the commencement of placements for the graduating batch of 2026. According to an official statement, students from various engineering disciplines have received offers from multinational corporations for different roles and salary packages. The placement season commenced with a student from the B.Tech in Computer Engineering program receiving a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Optum for the position of Software Development Engineer, with a salary package of Rs 18 lakh per annum. Additionally, four other students from the same program have been selected by IDFC First Bank as Application Engineers, each with offers of Rs 16 lakh per annum. From the B.Tech in Electronics and Communication program, one student has secured a PPO from Accenture for the role of Associate Software Engineer, with a package of Rs 11.89 lakh per annum. In the field of Electrical Engineering, three students have been hired by Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL). Two B.Tech graduates have been offered positions as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) with a salary of Rs 6 lakh per annum, while one M.Tech graduate has been selected as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) with a package of Rs 9 lakh per annum. The University Placement Cell has indicated that these selections represent the initial results of the 2026 placement season, conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registrar Prof. Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi.

JPSC JET 2024 Registration Now Open - The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially opened the registration process for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the JPSC official website at jpsc.gov.in. The application deadline is October 6, 2025, and the last date for fee submission is October 7, 2025. A correction window will be available from October 8 to October 10, 2025. IIT JAM 2026 Registration Now Open - The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has officially commenced the registration process for IIT JAM 2026 today, September 5, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the official IIT JAM website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The registration will remain open until October 12, 2025. The admit card for the examination will be available from January 5, 2026, and the exam is scheduled for February 15, 2026. Results will be announced on March 20, 2026. The examination will be conducted in approximately 116 cities across India and will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
