Thiagarajar College of Engineering provides quality education in the field of engineering. The campus is spread over an area of 143 acres with a lush green area. The institute provides various facilities to students such as well-structured classrooms with projector facility which helps students understand the subjects in a better manner. Moreover, the institute has highly structured computer labs where all the systems are connected with the internet and all the training sessions in the computer lab are managed by the IT professionals and computer faculty. The campus of TCE is fully Wi-Fi enabled and on the other hand, the college also provides sports facilities to students where large playgrounds are available for various games. The institute encourages students to take part in sports activities and organises sports programs that can help students take up team building and leadership activities. Various sports facilities such as cricket, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc are also available.

 TCE also has hostel facilities for both boys and girls, and the hostel is located near Thirupparankundram on the outskirts of Madurai. The institute has purified drinking water, food and laundry facilities in-house. The rooms are well-furnished with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable living. The college library is well stocked with reference books, textbooks, magazines, semester books, learning books, etc and digital facilities such as e-journals and e-books. The college also takes care of the transportation needs of students and even the staff which helps in reducing their travel expenses and ensures their safety and security.

Ladies Hostel

The TCE Ladies hostel is located at the foot of Koodal hills in an area of about 8acres in which the built up area covers about 3.33acres and the remaining area are of green coverage. The hostel campus is 31 years old and provides lodging and boarding for about 960 lady students of Thiagarajar College of Engineering. The hostel has two blocks at college campus and an annex block at Thirunagar. The hostel is located in an eco friendly environment surrounded with about 250 trees and lawn.

There are 3 floors in the main block with the capacity of 110 rooms and a new block has 5 floors with 90 rooms capacity. Each room can accommodate 4 students. An annex block is also available at Thirunagar with a capacity of 40 rooms.

BUILDING

• The A block (Tholkaapiar Illam) has 30 rooms in it. It has a total capacity of 115 students.

• The B block (Valluvar Illam) has 34 rooms in it. It has a capacity of 170 students.

• The C block (Nakkirar Illam) has 58 rooms in it. It has a total capacity of 232 students.

• The D block (Elango Illam) has 120 rooms in it. It has a total capacity of 240 students.
