Sri Guru Gobind Singh College (SGGSC), Chandigarh Scholarships 2025 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

The College has policy of offering special incentives, half-fee concession, total freeships and scholarships to top position holders. This motivates the students to further excel. The College also awards cash prizes every year. Cash Prize of Rs 25,000/- is awarded to the All round best student; Rs.21,000/- for scoring top position in B Sc and Rs.5,100/- cash prize to meritorious students.

The college provides financial support to the students in the form of scholarships, freeships and fee concessions on the following grounds:

• Half tuition fee concession to 10% of admitted students on the basis of their income

• Brother/sister fee concession

• Fee concession to students holding first three positions in the university examinations

• Fee concession and scholarship to meritorious students

• Fee concessions to deserving sportsmen

• Blind students' concession

• Scholarships for students from non-Hindi speaking states for post matric studies in Hindi Besides, the college has Student Aid Fund for helping the deserving and poor students of the college. Lump-sum aid is granted to students for paying college dues, hostel expenses, purchase of books etc. Stipend is also given to SC/ST students to enable them to complete their education.
