The Karnataka PGCET 2025 option entry process is now open for MBA, MCA, and Engineering courses at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates must complete their option entries by September 28. Mock allotment results will be declared on September 29, after which candidates can edit their choices.
The KMAT 2025 Session 1 results for MBA, PGDM, and MCA courses have been released on kmatindia.com for the exam held on September 7, 2025. Applicants can log in using their KMAT application number and password to view and download their scorecards.
KMAT 2025 Session 2 registration is currently open for admission to MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs and will continue until October 12, 2025. The Session 2 exam is scheduled for October 18, 2025, with admit cards available from October 16. Candidates can also take mock tests on October 15 and 16, 2025.
The Karnataka PGCET 2025 counselling schedule for MBA, MCA, and M.Tech programs has been released. The option entry process will commence on September 24 and conclude on September 28. The mock allotment result is scheduled to be published on September 29, while the first round seat allotment results will be announced on October 3 (provisional) and October 4 (final).
A Pass in PUC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Biology and the candidate shall have studied and passed in English as one of the subjects.
Admission for the first year of the course shall be open to the students (a) who have passed the two year Pre-University examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board or Central Board of Secondary Education with Mathematics as a subject of study; who possess Three-Year Diploma in any stream recognized by Government of Karnataka, or any other State government or Central government or any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent there to by this University .
The candidates shall have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination. Provided that candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and any other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka for such purpose from time to time shall be considered eligible for admission, if they have passed the qualifying examination giving eligibility for B.Arch. admission with 45% of marks.
All the candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. shall pass the National Aptitude Test conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Currently, the pass marks is 80 out of 200 in the NATA. This requirement is to be fulfilled by all candidates including those belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other classified groups.
The candidates who have passed B.E./ B.Tech examinations of VTU or any other recognized University with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. In case of candidates belongs to SC/ST and Group-I, the aggregate percentage marks of all the years of qualification shall not be less than 45%.
Candidates passed in any Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST and Category-I) of marks in aggregate
Who passed the Bachelor Degree examinations from a recognized University with not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST and Category-I) of marks in aggregate of all years with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business statistics as one of the subjects. The candidates who have studied and passed one of the above mentioned subjects in Pre-University course with 50% of marks are also eligible.
