Haan, lekin aap dusre streams try kar sakte ho jaise B.Tech Electrical Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, ya B.Tech Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, jahan yeh rank admission ke liye kaafi ho sakta hai. Iske alawa, aap dusre colleges bhi consider kar sakte ho jaise Narula Institute of Technology, Kazi Nazrul University, aur University of Calcutta, jo is rank par admission dete hain.

Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.

The Siliguri Institute of Technology does offer hostel facilities for its students. The college has two women’s hostels and one men's hostel building. Both the hostel for female students has 50 student capacity while the men's hostel has 65 student capacity. The hostel facilities at Siliguri Institute of Technology include a power backup facility, veg & non-veg food facility, bus service, paid laundry service and sports activity. The Siliguri Institute of Technology hostel fee is Rs 72,000 per annum for both men and women.
