Meeting the RNSIT eligibility criteria is one of the most crucial aspects of the admission process. Candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria:

• Candidates who are seeking RNSIT admission to the B.Tech courses should have completed their 10 + 2 years of schooling with at least 50% aggregate. A candidate should also attempt entrance exams like CET or JEE Mains. This is a 4 years course and lateral entry is available in this course.

• Candidates who want to secure RNSIT admission in MBA programmes should have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% aggregate. CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT are the accepted entrance exams. 
• Candidates who want to secure RNSIT admission in the M.Tech programme should have completed their B.Tech degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% aggregate. GATE is the accepted entrance exam. 
• Candidates who want to secure RNSIT admission in the MCA programme should have completed their BCA degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% aggregate. No entrance exam is required for this course..
• Candidates who want to secure RNSIT admission in the MSc programme should have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% aggregate. No entrance exam is required for this course. 

The RNSIT admission procedure is quite simple as there is a dedicated wing known as the Admission Cell which handles everything ranging from initial documentation to onboarding of students to different courses. RNSIT courses are offered across 4 streams, namely engineering, IT, management, and science. 

RNSIT Admission Process

• Submission: The first step is to submit the application form with all the necessary details. All applicants can submit a hard copy of the application form or fill in the online application form available on the website. To submit the application on paper, applicants will have to either get the application form from the college office or download and print a PDF version from the college website.
• Evaluation: The application form is then evaluated by the admission committee and students are asked to come for an interview at the college campus/appear for college entrance test at different centres throughout the country.  
• Interview: The interview process would help us to learn more about the students' personalities, interests and achievements.
• Selection: The successful students (through interview/entrance test) will be intimated about their RNSIT admission. They will also be sent a pre-induction kit.

• Candidates must complete and submit the application form with all the required documentation. It is necessary for candidates to present their original documents to the interview, as well as self-attested photocopies of the same, in order to have their credentials validated.
