The RKGITM admissions criteria differ in accordance with the different courses selected by the candidates during admission. 

The 3 colleges under the group Raj Kumar Goel Group of Institutions are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

• Admission to RKGITM B.Tech(4 years degree course) requires minimum eligibility of passing 10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition to physics and mathematics, the student should have included any one of the subjects from chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, or biology in their academic study. 
• There is also a provision of direct Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology and Management admissions to second-year B.Tech course (Lateral Entry) or in any branch of engineering or technology for those candidates who have passed three years Engineering Diploma from an institution located in Uttar Pradesh with 60% minimum marks. 
• Candidates whose parents (either mother or father) are residents of Uttar Pradesh and have passed 3 years of Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised Board of Technical Education of Uttar Pradesh in any stream of engineering except agricultural, pharmacy and architecture are also eligible. 
• Candidates who have passed 3 years B.Sc degree with mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognised university are eligible for admission to 2nd year in any stream engineering/technology course. Those candidates need to procure 60% marks in aggregate in their B.Sc degree result.
• Special RKGITM scholarships are provided to girls to promote higher education

The RKGITM eligibility criteria differs based on selection criteria. The list of courses along with the desired eligibility of the students are listed below:

Bachelor of Technology

4 years course with 4 streams; candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks. The candidate who has passed 3 years B.Sc degree with mathematics as one of the subjects and 60% marks in aggregate. Exam accepted for this course is JEE Main. 

Master of Business Administration 

2 years course with 3 streams; candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks along with CAT. Exam accepted for this course CAT / MAT/ UPSEE MBA and UPCET.

A candidate who is selected has to pay registration charges of Rs 1,000 at the time of admission. Along with registration fees, the candidate has to pay other charges such as:

In addition, the candidate has to pay examination fees, Digital library charges for AKTU are paid directly to the University through AKTU Portal. 

The payment of college fees can be done through NEFT/IMPS/RTGS transfer or can be deposited through Demand Order / PO.

The RKGITM admission process is conducted on both online and offline platforms. Interested candidates must ensure they complete the application process carefully and provide all the necessary documents.

Online Application Process 

• To apply for admission online, the candidate has to visit the official website of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology and Management, Ghaziabad. 
• On reaching the home page of the official website of the institute, candidates need to click on the “Apply Online” tab located in the extreme right-hand top corner. 
• On clicking “Apply Now” the online form for admission gets displayed.
• The details required to be filled in the application form by the candidate are :

1. Name and complete address of the candidate
2. Percentage of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Maths
3. Total percentage of marks obtained in the last exam by the candidate.
4. Phone number of the candidate

• Next, the candidate has to click on "Submit" for submitting the application form.

The parents/guardians of the selected students need to submit an undertaking on a non-judicial stamp paper confirming of non-indulgence of their ward in any type of indiscipline activities on the campus. Parents have to also give undertakings to assure that their ward will maintain attendance of more than 75% in the class. The undertaking will be also taken from the candidate's parents by the college authorities for disciplinary action against the candidate amounting to monetary punishment and expulsion of the candidate from the college, as decided by the Disciplinary Committee of the College. 

Offline Application Process 

Offline admission requires the same set of documents for submission as required during the online process. In the offline process, the documents are required to be submitted directly to the college office. 

• To apply for offline admission, the candidate has to visit the official website of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology for downloading the registration form. 
• On reaching the home page of the official website of the institute, candidates need to click on the "Admissions" tab available on the menu bar. 
• On clicking the "Admissions" tab, a drop-down list is displayed with one of the options "Registration Form" in the menu.

  • The declaration is taken from the parents of the candidates to confirm the genuineness of the information declared in the registration form. 
  • The registration form also takes a declaration of not having any criminal offence or cases as well as no proceedings are pending against the candidate in any Court of India or aboard. The candidate has to also declare that he/she has not been rusticated from any college/university in the past. 
  • The above declaration needs to be confirmed with names and signatures from both candidates and their parents.
