PGDM review of NDIIT- Scam college

Overall: Hi, If you are someone planning to take admission for PGDM here kindly STOP. It is a scam college. In second year there are no studies . Placements and management is very poor . They show fake placements and the truth is you they have no tie ups with MNC's. I totally wasted my 2 precious years. You have to do job hunt on your own. They delay every procedure. And if you raise your concerns they backfire at you. The biggest mistake of my life was to take admission in NDIIT and get scammed by their 100% placements guarantee. Who wants to work for 15-20k after doing MBA/PGDM . Even graduates earn more than this. They dont even give you proper information say for eg when will the exams be held , when will placement drive start. In fact there was no placement drive. Also there are some teachers who are very biased. Students who do their buttering and personal works they prefer them . There is no formal way of communication .

Placement: If taking fees of 5.9 Lakhs ,( which is now increased ), getting placement of 15-20k that too not in a good company where you dont have any job security, with a not desired role , How is it justified, How can they claim 100% placements, Just because they can show offer letters that the students receive doesnt mean the student was satisfied with that or joined that organisation. There is no placement drive. Students struggle till the end of second yr for placement. Even for summer internships , some students got internship only for 2-3 months and after that there is no input from the college no offline classes are held , no learning . Whatever we have to do is on our own , so if I had to do everything on my own why would i pay 5.9 lakh rupees, I could have done MBA/ PGDM from open college just to get the degree because that is what is happening here . There is no placement cell ,no formal emails that are circulated . Sometimes they send openings to some students and not to some. I feel that every student (all specialisations) should be aware of the openings and be allowed to apply . Never seen such a management .

Infrastructure: Old building , broken outside board , Small reception , Washrooms are also not clean most of the time . there is No playground , there is no area for sports or activities . There are no indoor sports also. Such a poor canteen with broken tables and fan . Only 2 classrooms are there. The building for undergraduate students is okayish. College organises small events on festivals like Diwali , Holi as extra curricular activities . There are no clubs or socities in which we can enrol. Classrooms have AC which are working good. Library is very shady. There are plenty of books but it is so depressing one can never study there . Infrastrructure needs immediate attention from the management to improve student experience. I feel infrastructure can be ignored once if the other things and facilities are good in a college like management, studies and placements . But overall it is a very dissapointing experience to be a part of NDIIT

Faculty: They outsource teachers from outside. Some teachers are good but again the college is soo soo poor in management and in conducting exams also . There is no timeline for anything here . For some subjects teachers are very good, they are experienced and have good knowledge . Inconsistent lectures . No regular tests/ exams. Focus only on bookish exams. Initially we were told there will be industrial visits every month but the truth is not even 1 industrial visit happened . They lied about everything . Otherwise on a personal level teachers are good, like teacher who teacher HRM is very good and skilled in her subject . Teachers are knowledgeable But talking about the mangement staff , it is very poor and lazy . We dont get our marksheets on time , not even our ID card, we have no information about exams before time , students need to continously ask for updates , and the response we get is " We will let you know " . There are no set rules and regulations or timelines that the college adheres to .Its high time the management should be changed or improved otherwise there is decline only what i can see . We dont get answers to our questions it just seems we have been scammed .

Hostel: There is no Hostel . If you are outstation student , hunt for PG's nearby, there are many in Kalkaji and Nehru place. but again the college is not worth it for someone staying outside delhi to come and spend so much money on fees and living also , as the ROI is pathetic. if you want to spoil your career . Come to NDIIT. Initially they pretend that we have accomodation near the college but the truth is all my classmates searched for flats/ PG's on their own

Overall: I wasn't sure what to expect from college, but this place is fostering a truly enriching experience. With a wide range of activities and approachable faculty, they're setting us up for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Placement: Although the university secures placements for a majority of students (80-85%), these positions are often with large companies or startups and come with salaries between 15,000 and 20,000 rupees. Internships are offered during the summer in the first and second years.

Infrastructure: With well-furnished classrooms, a spacious parking lot, and a strong focus on environmental responsibility, my college provides a comprehensive and sustainable learning environment. They even offer indoor games for students to enjoy their breaks.

Faculty: The faculty offers both academic excellence and research opportunities. Their teaching style is practical, and we delve into real-world applications through research papers.

Hostel: There's a daily cleaning time at the hostel from 11am to 2pm, but the owners are cool with exceptions if you ask nicely. It's a good time to be out and about with friends anyway. Hostel life has been a real turning point for me.

Budget Friendly PGDM

Overall: I wanted to do PGDM but I was not having too much of money. And all the colleges were charging the fees that is more than 10 lakhs. But all the colleges were promising the same thing to provide in their course. So I decided to take admission in NDIIT because their offerings were same and in lower budget.

Placement: According to me, companies are same in all the colleges. But if you will compete with the batch of lower strength, you will get more opportunities. Here in NDIIT, batch size is 60 only. Therefore, placement opportunities are more in NDIIT for every student.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in not too big but its sufficient to study and we can get all the mandatory things within the campus. Overall, you will not get time to explore the campus.

Faculty: All the faculties were very experienced and running as they used to train the students of DU, IIMs and other big names in education industry. Maximum Faculty was from corporate.

Hostel: College don't provide Hostel facility. They provide PG facility to the students. PGs are on walking distance from the college. You will get any time access to the PG.
