Maharashtra Institute of Technology admission 2024 has started. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration started on February 02, 2024 and will end on March 02, 2024. The exam for session 2 of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. JEE Main scorecard is required for admission to B.Tech. Admissions at Maharashtra Institute of Technology usually begin in April every year. Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject and secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45%marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). Also, the candidate should have obtained rank in the JEE exam.
Those candidates, who are from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State and wishing to take B.Tech admission under Management Quota, should have All India Rank in JEE (Main). However, they are required to apply separately to the management of the college for the seats.
Aspiring candidates for B.Tech at MIT Pune have to appear for the MHT-CET or JEE-Mains in order to get admission in the college. Firstly the candidate needs to register by clicking the ‘Apply online’ button on the official website of DTE and fill all the required details carefully. After that click on the register button then a confirmation message will be displayed. Then, go back to the home page and login with created credentials and complete the application form and upload the documents and photos. After that, make a payment online via debit card, credit card, net banking or challan in which take the print of challan and pay fees in the bank. Don’t forget to take a print out of the payment receipt and note down the application number for future reference.
Once the entrance exam is done, shortlisted candidates (only JEE-Mains appeared) have to register themselves with the DTE website for counseling. Candidates who have appeared for MHT-CET need not register separately for counseling, whereas JEE-Mains appeared candidates are required to register.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of rank in JEE Main or MHT-CET examination followed by the DTE counselling.
The candidates should be of Indian Nationality and passed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% marks from the All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and non- zero score of GATE entrance exams.

After that, make a payment through online via debit card, credit card, net banking or challan in which take the print of challan and pay fees in the bank. Don’t forget to take a print out of the payment receipt and note down the application number for future reference. The print out of the duly filled application form has to signed and the candidates will have to submit it at any facilitation center along with the other required documents. DTE Maharashtra will release the merit list of M.Tech. All of the shortlisted candidates will have to register and commence the choice filling process. The selection of choices has to be done as per preference and to select a maximum number of choices. Allotment of seats will be done as per the GATE score, selected preferences and availability of seats.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the score in the GATE examination.
The Candidate should be an Indian National and should have pursued a three-year Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent. The candidate should have obtained non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH-MBA)/CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT /ATMA.
Those candidates who have non zero scores in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ATMA need to register themselves with the DTE website for counselling. Whereas MAH-CET appeared candidates aren’t required to register, they can use created credentials. Then, the candidates will also have to submit a print out of the documents and application form with the sign at the facilitation centres. Based on verification, a merit list will be published. After that, students will select their preferred college & stream.
Admission of the candidates will be based on the score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAH CET/ ATMA test.
