KIIT-KISS and UNESCO MGIEP Join Hands to Advance the SDG Goals - A collaboration agreement was signed today between UNESCO’s Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace (MGIEP) and KIIT-KISS to advance the vision of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7. The agreement was signed in New Delhi at a special programme in the presence of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, and Prof. Obijiofor Aginam, Director of UNESCO MGIEP. This partnership aims to initiate youth-led group projects to address SDG challenges and develop impactful curricula in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Media and Information Literacy. The institutions will collaborate on developing and rolling out credit-awarding courses in these areas, focusing on equipping young people with the skills necessary for building peaceful and sustainable societies.
Capgemini & KSOM Sign MoU to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration - On September 18, 2025, Capgemini Technology Services India Limited and KIIT School of Management (KSOM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing industry-academia interaction. This collaboration is designed to enrich the talent pool of students through structured programs that include orientation sessions, specialized training, case studies, and regular mentorship by Capgemini professionals. The partnership will facilitate internship availability, assign faculty mentors, and support campus recruitment activities, granting Capgemini preferential hiring status for final-year students who complete the program. Additionally, joint marketing and branding efforts will be undertaken to promote this collaboration, emphasizing a commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate excellence.
The scholarship is instituted in the memory of Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, Founder President of KIIT. Every year two poor and meritorious students are provided completely free education under this scholarship scheme. The Scholarship covers college fees, hostel fees including mess, books and any other ancillary expenses. The decision of the selection committee regarding selection of candidate will be final.
