KINS Organizes a Seminar on “CO Attainment”-2025 - On July 22, 2025, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) organized a seminar focusing on the attainment of Course Outcomes (CO) for the year 2025, exclusively for faculty members. The seminar aimed to enhance understanding of Course Outcomes, which are vital components of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. Conducted by Mr. Dipti Ranjan Biswal, Vice Dean of the IQAC Cell at KIIT-DU, the session covered the importance of aligning teaching-learning activities and assessments with desired outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in academic quality. Methodologies for mapping COs to POs, measuring attainment levels, and analyzing gaps for curriculum enhancement were discussed. The interactive discussions allowed faculty members to clarify doubts and share experiences in implementing OBE in nursing education. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging Mr. Biswal's guidance and the IQAC cell's support in fostering a quality culture at KINS.

How To Apply
This scholarship is instituted in the memory of late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, Founder President of KIIT. Every year two economically challenged but meritorious students are provided completely free education under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship covers college fees, hostel fees including mess, books and any other ancillary expenses.
KIIT has instituted Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship for the poor and needy students. Students fulfilling the criteria can apply for this scholarship. The decision of the selection committee on selection of such candidates will be final.
KIIT Merit Scholarship is awarded to the University Toppers (1st, 2nd &3rd ranker) of each semester for Six months.
In pursuance of the policy framework for promotion of post graduate education and research in Engineering & Technology, MHRD and AICTE provide financial assistance to the GATE qualified candidates enrolled for M. Tech. Programme.
