The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. IIT Roorkee GATE Cutoff 2026: IIT Roorkee MTech cutoff 2026 will be prepared and released after the COAP counselling process on the IIT Roorkee website at iitr.ac.in. The expected IIT Roorkee GATE cutoff 2026 is 760-780 for the General category, 730-750 for OBC, 450-550 for SC, and 450-550 for ST categories. To get admission to IIT Roorkee, you must achieve equal to or higher than the IIT Roorkee MTech cutoff 2026. The cutoff for GATE IIT Roorkee 2026 will be determined by taking into account all aspects such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students who took the exam, previous year cutoff patterns, the student's gender, and the category of students. Indian Institute of Roorkee and IIT Delhi shared an update on changes in the exam centre for IIT JAM and GATE 2025. According to the latest notification, candidates who have chosen Prayagraj center will now take Lucknow as their exam centre. GATE 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from February 1 to February 16, 2025. IIT Delhi announced amendments in IIT JAM exam centre on their official website as IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled for February 2, 2025.

GATE PE 2026: The GATE Petroleum Engineering 2026 exam will be conducted tentatively in the month of February 2026. IIT Guwahati is yet to announce the GATE PE exam dates. AP PGECET Seat Allotment 2025: The AP PGECET 2025 seat allotment will be published on September 26, 2025. The allotment will depend on candidates’ rank, options exercised during the web options, and available vacancies for postgraduate engineering courses around Andhra Pradesh. The candidates allotted seats will have to report to their allocated colleges on the scheduled dates for admission. The official website for checking the allotment and downloading the allotment letter is pgecet-sche1.aptonline. Candidates have to be very careful while following the guiding principles and also complete the self-reporting process as proof of their admission. The academic calendar for the assigned courses is scheduled to commence on September 29, 2025; therefore a prompt reporting is critical.

AP B.Arch Counselling 2025 Begins: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has started the AP B.Arch counselling registration 2025 today, September 22, 2025. The interested and the eligible candidates should visit the official website- apsche.ap.gov.in and complete the registration process on or before September 29, 2025. Candidates who have qualified for the class 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with the Biology or Chemistry or Technical Vocational Subject or IT or Computer Science or Informatics Practices or Business Studies or Engineering Graphics with at least 45% marks or qualified 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 45% marks, can also participate in the AP B.Arch counselling registration process. Once the counselling registration is completed successfully, the candidates should complete the certificate verification between September 29 to October 1, 2025.
