The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. IIIT Delhi is now accepting applications for its PG Diploma in Data Science in Health and Climate Change for Social Impact, a program designed to equip professionals with the skills to leverage data science for addressing pressing health and climate challenges. The last date for application submission is August 31, 2025. This initiative is a collaboration with prominent organizations such as Artpark and J-PAL South Asia at IFMR, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience backed by academic excellence. The programme will commence in October 2025.

JoSAA Round 5 IIIT Cutoff 2025 - The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the IIIT Round 5 cutoff 2025 in online mode at the official website - josaa.admissions.nic.in, after the release of the JoSAA seat allotment result 2025 for Round 5. Candidates should note that only a limited number of seats are available at IIITs as per the JoSAA Round 5 seat allotment. Latest Updates: The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) response sheet will be released on May 22, 2025, and following the response sheet, the JEE Advanced 2025 answer key will be released on May 26, 2025. When will JEE Main 2026 Notification be Released? Every year, lakhs of students wait eagerly for the JEE Main notification because this single announcement decides the flow of everything that follows. The online registrations begin as soon as the official notification is published. The JEE Main 2026 Notification is very important for prospective applicants as it tells you when the exam process starts, when you can apply, and how you should get ready with documents and preparation. TG PGECET Phase 2 Counselling 2025 Underway: The TG PGECET phase 2 counselling 2025 process is underway. As per the official notice, the TG PGECET phase 2 counselling registration process will be concluded soon, on September 25, 2025, by the Telangana Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. Candidates yet to participate in the counselling registration process should visit the official website- pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in before the last date. By September 25, 2025, the candidates should also complete the Phase 2 document verification process. Once the Phase 2 registration and document verification process is done, the authority will release the verified list of the eligible registered candidates on September 28, 2025. 

GATE PE 2026: The GATE Petroleum Engineering 2026 exam will be conducted tentatively in the month of February 2026. IIT Guwahati is yet to announce the GATE PE exam dates. However, the official exam dates for all papers are scheduled on February 7, 8, 14 & 15. If you are interested in taking the GATE PE 2026 exam, then you should ensure to know all the details about the exam date, syllabus, question paper, answer key etc. The exam syllabus has been issued by the authority. Moreover, as per the official syllabus, the GATE PE exam includes a total of 16 topics, such as Calculus, Petroleum Exploration, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Formation Evaluation, Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques etc. The authority will be releasing the GATE PE answer key a few days after the exam has been concluded. With the help of the answer key, you will be able to get a rough idea of the exam marks. Along with the answer key, the authority will also release the response sheet.

AP PGECET Seat Allotment 2025: The AP PGECET 2025 seat allotment will be published on September 26, 2025. The allotment will depend on candidates’ rank, options exercised during the web options, and available vacancies for postgraduate engineering courses around Andhra Pradesh. The candidates allotted seats will have to report to their allocated colleges on the scheduled dates for admission. The official website for checking the allotment and downloading the allotment letter is pgecet-sche1.aptonline. Candidates have to be very careful while following the guiding principles and also complete the self-reporting process as proof of their admission. The academic calendar for the assigned courses is scheduled to commence on September 29, 2025; therefore a prompt reporting is critical.

AP B.Arch Counselling 2025 Begins: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has started the AP B.Arch counselling registration 2025 today, September 22, 2025. The interested and the eligible candidates should visit the official website- apsche.ap.gov.in and complete the registration process on or before September 29, 2025. Candidates who have qualified for the class 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with the Biology or Chemistry or Technical Vocational Subject or IT or Computer Science or Informatics Practices or Business Studies or Engineering Graphics with at least 45% marks or qualified 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 45% marks, can also participate in the AP B.Arch counselling registration process. Once the counselling registration is completed successfully, the candidates should complete the certificate verification between September 29 to October 1, 2025.
