The session, attended by over 50 students from MBA and MCA, aimed to refine their professional attire choices and enhance their corporate presence.
Expert styling mentors provided valuable insights on the significance of appropriate dressing, personal grooming, and sartorial choices in shaping a professional image. The session covered power dressing, accessorizing, and color coordination, and equipped students with the knowledge to exude confidence and credibility in professional settings. This one-hour interactive session was part of GJIMT’s ongoing industry readiness initiatives, to ensure that our students are well-prepared for corporate culture. As an integral part of the curriculum, a simulation game workshop, "Customer is King," was organised by GJIMT Mohali. The students explored the sphere of strategic decision-making within the business world and learnt complexities of running a profitable equity brokerage house. The event was organised in virtual mode.
Throughout the event, participants were tasked with navigating up to 13 critical decisions, each designed to challenge their understanding of marketing concepts and business sense. The students not only gained valuable insights into the intricacies of business management but also had the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and expand their professional networks.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, GJIMT Mohali celebrated the achievements of more than 100 remarkable women educationists from various educational institutions of the region, at the annual event “Sodashi – A Celebration of Womanhood”.
Sodashi, meaning purity in Sanskrit, symbolised the essence of womanhood - strength, resilience, and grace. The event was committed to recognise and celebrate women, both within the educational community, and beyond.

More than 100 motivated Gian Jyoti students recently participated in the series of webinars that were organised by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). These engaging sessions focused on two important topics that shapes the modern professional landscape i.e. Digital Marketing Fundamentals and Emerging Trends in Human Resource Management (HRM).
As part of recognition process, each and every participant has been given e-certificates on behalf of NSDC.

Tanmay, Shivam, and Nitin - students of the BCA degree IV year - have earned gold medal at the competitive event named ‘Code Relay’. The team showcased teamwork and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Their win has highlighted the education standards of GJIMT throughout.
