70% of the sanctioned intake is category A seats and are filled by APSCHE. The procedure for filling category A seats is time to time varying and is laid down by the APSCHE and state government. For the last three years admissions are done through a central online system. First the candidates have to get their certificates verified and submitted at the specified counseling centers decided by the convener. After submitting the certificates the candidates will be given the scratch card that contains the password. The password enables the candidate to fill his multiple options based on Priority College wise as well as branch wise. After the stipulated time the APSCHE allots the seats to the students through on line process based on the rank in EAMCET and marks in the Intermediate group subjects(Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry).
Category-B Seats 30 % of the approved intake is filled by the college as per the guidelines issued by the APSCHE in a highly transparent manner.
The guidelines issued by APSCHE are:
Candidates should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of SC candidates) in the qualifying exam (Intermediate).
The decreasing order of priority is based on the EAMCET rank and marks in qualifying exam (Intermediate) not less than 45%(40% in case of reserved categories) in the group subjects. The lower the rank the better the priority.
