Who is eligible for COMEDK Round 4 Counselling 2025?

COMEDK 2025 Round 4 Counselling is expected to begin in the first week of September, and the detailed eligibility criteria for the same have been elaborated here.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will soon announce the COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling schedule for round 4 at comedk.org. This Counselling session is specifically mentioned for those candidates COMEDK Round 4 Counselling 2025 who had opted out of the process earlier but still wish to pursue admission. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to participate in the COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling round 4.

Eligibility Criteria to Participate in COMEDK Round 4 Counselling 2025

The following table displays the types of eligible candidates for participating in Round 4 counselling of COMEDK 2025 -

Type 1	Candidate who opted for Accept & Upgrade or Reject & Upgrade status in Round 3 of COMDEK Counselling
Type 2	Candidates who participated in COMEDK 2025, and have not secured seats in the previous rounds
Type 3	Candidates who were allotted seats in the previous rounds but failed to get admission due to non-payment/ failure in the payment of the fee can participate
Type 4	Supplementary candidates from the 2025 exam who have passed their qualifying exam are also eligible, provided they have uploaded all required documents

The following are the important points noted while attending for COMEDK Round 4 Counselling.

No seat cancellation after Round 4 allotment
Must join the allotted college within the deadline
Refund available only if no seat is allotted
Penalty applies for not reporting after seat allotment
An additional fee needs to be paid if the total fee is higher than the fee paid in the earlier rounds

COMEDK Round 4 seat allotment is a critical phase, as there is no option for seat cancellation once a seat is allotted. Candidates allotted a seat must accept it and report to the respective college within the given timeline; otherwise, the seat and fees will be forfeited, along with a penalty fee. Those who do not get a seat in Round 4 will receive a refund as per the counselling rules.
