UPTAC B.Tech Choice Filling 2025 Starts on July 10UPTAC B.Tech Choice Filling 2025 Starts on July 10: The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2025 is scheduled to activate the choice filling process for B.Tech aspirants on July 10, 2025. Candidates who have registered and completed the document verification process can log in at the official website- uptac.admissions.nic.in, to fill in their preferred choices of engineering colleges and courses. As per the official notification, the last date to submit and lock choices is July 12, 2025. Candidates are advised to complete the choice-filling process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. During this period, they can log in to their account, review the available program and institute options, and submit their preferences in the order of their choice.
Candidates must note that once the choices are locked, no further edits will be allowed. It is mandatory to lock the choices before the deadline; otherwise, the system will auto-lock the last saved preferences.

Post-allotment, candidates can choose to “Freeze” (accept the seat), “Float” (retain the seat but seek upgrades in later rounds), or “Withdraw” (exit the process). The seat acceptance fee is INR 20,000 for General/OBC candidates and INR 12,000 for SC/ST candidates, payable online.
