TNEA Special Counselling 2025 Tentative Allotment: The Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, is scheduled to announce the tentative allotment for TNEA Special Counselling 2025 on July 11, at 7 AM. Candidates who have registered for the special counselling round will be able to check their tentative allotment by visiting the official website – tneaonline.org. The tentative allotment is a provisional list and is released to provide candidates with a preview of their likely seat allotment based on the choices they have submitted and their merit rank. This special round of counselling is being conducted for vacant seats left in general counselling rounds.

Candidates are advised to verify the details mentioned in the allotment and raise grievances, if any, before July 11 (up to 7 PM). After the grievances, the department will publish the final allotment on July 12, 2025 (at 7 AM). Once the final allotment is out, candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required fee and downloading the provisional allotment order. Failure to confirm the seat within the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotment.

The tentative allotment, about to be released, will be based on candidate’s rank, preferences and seat availability. Aspirants are advised to keep their login credentials ready in order to check the tentative allotment and raise objections, if necessary. Candidates opting for “Accept” must report to the allotted college or TNEA Facilitation Centre (TFC) with documents like Class 12 mark sheets, TNEA rank card, and category certificates for verification.

The exam authority will not notify any candidate about their allotment through SMS/email. If a candidate is not satisfied with the current allotment, they can opt for upgrade options to be considered for higher preference choices in the upcoming rounds.
