TNEA Round 1 Counselling 2025 to begin on July 14 for 1 to 39,145 RankTNEA Round 1 Counselling 2025: Candidates who are waiting for the counselling process of TNEA Round 1 shall note that it will begin on July 14, 2025, from 10 AM onwards. As per the schedule, the entire TNEA counselling process occurs according to ranks in three rounds. Therefore, for TNEA Round 1 general counselling, candidates who achieved ranks from 1 to 39,415 only are eligible to participate. The counselling process includes major steps such as choice filing, publication of tentative allotment, tentative allotment confirmation, seat acceptance, reporting process, and release of allotment for upward candidates.
The shortlisted candidates falling within Rank 1 to Rank 39,415 must enter their choices within the scheduled time. During this process, candidates are advised to enter the maximum number of options they wish in descending order of priority. The top choices are considered as the first preference in the allotment. The candidates can alter their choices as many times before the deadline, i.e., July 16, 2025 . However, once locked, no changes to the choice preferences will be made. Based on these choices and their ranks, the tentative allotment will be announced.
