Maharshi Dayanand University conducts entrance examination for MA course in various streams. The candidates can check the detailed selection and counselling process here.
Selection Process: -
- The selection of the candidates is purely based on merit.
- A separate rank list will be released and the candidates need to proceed to the counselling process.
Counselling Process: -
- Maharshi Dayanand University conducts rank wise counselling.
- The candidates need to attend for counselling as per schedule published on the official website of the varsity.
- The candidates need to exercise the options, i.e., choose the institution of his/her own choice during the counselling.
- The seat allotment will be done based on the merit or rank and depend upon the availability of seats.
- If the candidate does not get a seat in the college as per his/he preference, he/she can be in waiting list.
- These candidates can take part in the second round of counselling as a fresh candidate.
- The candidates who will be allotted seats have to pay the course fee on the day of counselling itself.
- If the candidates fail to appear for counselling, he/she will be entitled to get admission only if there are any vacant seats.
