The Medical Counselling Committee has yet to declare the official date of NEET PG counselling 2025. Considering the previous year’s trends, it can be assumed that the authority takes 15 to 20 days, tentatively from the date of releasing the NEET PG result, to conduct the counselling process. The NEET PG result 2025 was announced on August 19 and hence, the NEET PG counselling process will likely commence by the first week of September. If delayed, then the NEET PG counselling process will be started by the second week of September.

In 2024, the NEET PG result was released on August 23, 2024; whereas the counselling process started on September 20 with the registration process. This means the authority took approximately one month to commence the counselling process after the declaration of the NEET PG result.
Candidates who will be qualified for the NEET PG exam with the minimum cutoff percentile will be eligible to participate in the NEET PG counselling process. The NEET PG counselling process will comprise the steps like registration, fee payment process, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting and fee payment process. The NEET PG counselling dates and the processes will be available soon on the official website- mcc.nic.in.
