Admissions are based solely on All India Ranks obtained in the JEE Main exam, eliminating the need for a separate entrance exam. Eligible candidates who have applied for the counselling process can check their seat allotment results on the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in, using their JEE Main application number, password, and security pin.
The JAC Chandigarh 2025 Round 1 seat allotment letter will contain key information, including the candidate's name, JEE Main rank, category, allocated institution and program, required fee payment, and relevant guidelines for further process.

Following the seat allotment, candidates will need to complete the online seat acceptance process and submit their willingness to participate in subsequent rounds between July 11 and July 14, 2025. Candidates who are allotted seats can choose to freeze, float, or slide their options. Those who wish to withdraw after the first round can do so on July 15, 2025.
The participating institutes of JAC Chandigarh include Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University SSG Regional Centre (UIET, PUSSGRC).
