IIT Bombay will commence the IIT JAM application form fill up process on September 5, 2025 on the official website. Candidates should upload a list of required documents during the IIT JAM application form fill up process.
IIT JAM 2026 Application FormIIT JAM 2026 Application Form Start Date: IIT Bombay has released the IIT JAM 2026 official notification on the official website. As per the notice, the authority will start the IIT JAM 2026 application form fill up process on September 5, 2025. Candidates who want to participate in the IIT JAM application form fill up process should create a registered account at the JOAPS portal. The last date of IIT JAM registration is October 12, 2025.
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree or are appearing in the final year of graduation are eligible to participate in the IIT JAM 2026 registration process. Also, the candidates should get 55% or a CGPA of 5.5 (50% for reserved category candidates) in their graduation to fill out the IIT JAM application form. Before filling out the form, the candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and fill out the correct details.
IIT JAM 2026 Application Form: Documents to Keep Ready
Candidates should keep the following documents ready, which should be submitted during the IIT JAM application form fill up process 2026.
- A recent passport-sized, coloured photograph. The format of the photograph should be in JPEG/JPG. Size should be 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm (Width × Height.
- Scanned signature of the candidates (signature should be done in black ink on white paper)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), if applicable
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Mark sheet/ degree certificate, passing certificates
- Final year study proof (if applicable)
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card/ voter ID/ Passport/ Birth certificate)
Note, that the candidates are asked to upload only a good-quality recent photograph. The same image will be attached to the IIT JAM admit card and scorecard. The background of the photograph should be white or very light in colour. Photographs of the candidates should not be different from their appearance on the examination day.
