HSTES B.Tech Round 1 Choice Filling 2025: The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) is set to close the Round 1 choice filling process for B.Tech admissions 2025 on July 9. Candidates who have registered for the Haryana B.Tech counselling under HSTES must complete and lock their choices for colleges and branches by the deadline on the official website- techadmissionshry.gov.in. After the deadline, no responses will be accepted by the authority at any cost. Those who fail to submit their preferences before the cut-off will not be considered for HSTES B.Tech Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025 , which is scheduled to be published by the admission authority on July 10, 2025 .

Candidates must log in using their application number and password to access the choice filling form. After the choice-filling window closes, the first seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2025. Students who are allotted seats in Round 1 must download their provisional seat allotment letter and proceed with the physical reporting to the allotted institute between July 11 (9 AM) and July 15 (5 PM), as per the schedule. Those who are not allotted a seat in Round 1 or are dissatisfied can choose to participate in subsequent rounds.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the list of preferences they have submitted and ensure they have prioritised their most preferred colleges and branches. Some of the popular engineering colleges in Haryana under HSTES include DCRUST Murthal, PIET Panipat, Dronacharya College of Engineering, and Manav Rachna University.

Following Round 1 allotment, candidates will have the option to accept the seat, upgrade in the next round, or participate in subsequent rounds if not allotted. The Round 2 counselling registration and choice filling will begin from July 17 onwards, after the completion of Round 1 admissions. In case a candidate is not allotted any seat in Round 1, they are automatically eligible to participate in further rounds.
