GSET 2025 Application Form Underway: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, is currently accepting online applications for the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) 2025 for the position of Assistant Professor. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply before the deadline, September 6, 2025, to avoid last-minute issues. The registration process involves two main steps: payment of the examination fee and submission of the application form.

This year marks the 19th edition of GSET, which is scheduled to be held on November 16, 2025 . The exam will be conducted in 33 subjects and will consist of two papers with a total duration of 3 hours. Paper 1 will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by Paper 2 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Here are the steps to follow while submitting the GSET 2025 Application Form in online mode: -

Step 1: Candidates can visit the official website gujaratset.ac.in.

Step 2: Now, they are required to pay the GSET 2025 Application fee.

• For General / General-EWS / SEBC (Non-creamy layer) Candidates: Rs 900 + bank charges
• SC/ST/Third gender Candidates: Rs 700 + bank charges
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Candidates: Rs 100 + bank charges

Step 3: There are three payment gateway options for fee payment (1) SBIePay (2) Easebuzz and (3) Surepay (PayGov). Candidates can make payment by using one mode.

Step 4: Candidates should note down and preserve the Order Number and Payment Reference ID for future reference.  Note that the fee is non-refundable.

Step 5: Now, candidates should enter their personal information, contact details and education qualifications.

Step 6: After that, candidates can select what they want to appear for the subject among the available 33 subjects.

Step 7: Candidates must upload the necessary documents such as marksheet, category certificates and others. Note that the other state candidates will come under the General category only.

Step 8: Before submission, candidates are advised to carefully review the application form. Because, after submission, no further changes will be made.

Step 9: After successful submission, take a printout of the GSET 2025 application form.
