Who is Eligible to Participate in CSAB Special Round Counselling 2025?
The following table displays the ‘types of eligible candidates’ for participating in CSAB Special Round Counselling 2025:

Type 1 | Candidates who did not participate in JoSAA 2025 rounds but meet the specified eligibility criteria outlined in Annexure 2, 6, and 7 are eligible for CSAB Special Round Counselling 2025. |
Type 2 | Candidates who participated in JoSAA 2025 rounds but did not secure a seat are eligible to participate. |
Type 3 | Candidates who were allotted seats in JoSAA 2025 but failed to obtain admission due to non-payment of the seat acceptance fee can participate. |
Type 4 | Candidates who chose to exit the JoSAA 2025 counselling process are eligible for the special round. |
Type 5 | Candidates who faced issues during document verification or withdrew their allotted seats after being allotted seats in JoSAA 2025 are eligible. |
Type 6 | Candidates who secured seats in the NIT+ system through JoSAA 2025 and have already taken admission by paying the required fees can participate. |
Type 7 | Candidates who withdrew from allotted seats in the NIT system are eligible. |
Type 8 | Candidates whose seats were cancelled during document verification without subsequent allotment can participate. |
Type 9 | Candidates who completed document verification and paid the seat acceptance fee but had their seats cancelled due to non-payment of partial admission fees are eligible. |
