AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025: HC decision on local status awaited, seat allotment further delayed

The AP High Court is yet to decide on the local status in AP EAMCET counselling 2025, and the final phase seat allotment result is expected to be delayed further. There is no sigh of seat allotment result till August 20.

AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025: The High Court of Andhra Pradesh is yet to take a decision on the local status in AP EAMCET counselling 2025, and this is leading to further delay in the counselling process. Considering the current scenario, AP EAMCET 2025 final phase seat allotment is expected to be delayed further, and there is no sign of the seat allotment result till August 20. As August 15, 16 and 17 are continuous holidays for the court, the matter is expected to be heard only after August 18, which means the chances of seat allotment are less before that. Apart from the AP EAMCET final phase seat allotment 2025, AP ICET final phase counselling and AP LAWCET counselling are delayed.

While the second phase seat allotment is getting delayed, various colleges have started asking students who secured seats in Phase 1 counselling to join and pay the fees. Students who need hostel facility at colleges are targeted by a few colleges, and there were instances where these colleges tried to threaten students that if they dont pay the fee, they might lose their hostel facility. Many representations are being made to APSCHE regarding the clarity on the final phase seat allotment, but until the matter comes for hearing in AP HC, the authority will not be in a position to provide further updates.

AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat Allotment 2025 was supposed to be released on August 4 , but the allotment was delayed due to the local status issue . While the HC was in favour of granting local status to three students who studied Intermediate in Telangana and Class 10 in Andhra Pradesh, DTE was not favourable of the same and filed a counter petition on the HC order. Due to these reasons, it is the students who are suffering as the academic session is being delayed. Parents and students are hoping for a quick resolution of the issue.
