AILET 2026 Registration: The registration process for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 is now open for candidates aspiring to join the BA LLB and LLM programs at the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. The application window opened on August 7, 2025, and will remain active until November 10, 2025. Candidates can complete their application online through the official AILET portal, ie, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in , by creating an account, filling in personal and academic details, uploading the required documents such as a photograph, signature, and certificates, and paying the application fee. Eligible candidates are advised to register early to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2026 UG [B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)]

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% in their class 12 examinations.
  • SC/ST/PWD applicants must have at least a 40% aggregate score in the class 12 examination.
  • Those who belong to the Foreign Nationals Category should have 65% or more in the Higher Secondary School Examination of the (10+2) system or in an equivalent examination.
  • Candidates who have finished and passed their class 12 examinations in the April/May 2025 session are also eligible to apply for the AILET 2026 exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2026 PG (LL.M)

  • Candidates must possess an LL.B. degree or an equivalent legal degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised institute.
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates must have an LL.B. degree with a minimum aggregate score of 44%.
  • Those who belong to the Foreign Nationals Category must have an LL.B. or equivalent degree from an institute recognised by UGC or from the Association of Indian Universities with a minimum of 55% aggregate score.
  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in/awaiting the results of their LL.B. degree program may also apply and take the Entrance Test.

The application fee for AILET 2026 is Rs 3,500 for general and OBC candidates and  Rs 1,500 for SC/ST/PWD candidates, with no fee for SC/ST BPL candidates. This registration process ensures that all eligible candidates have enough time to apply and prepare for the entrance exam.
