IIT Guwahati B.tech in Civil Engineering Eligibility Criteria

To pursue a B.Tech. degree at IIT Guwahati, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria. Firstly, they should have completed their 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Additionally, they must have secured a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in these subjects. It is mandatory for applicants to qualify in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced, which is conducted annually. Only those who rank among the top candidates in this highly competitive exam are eligible for admission. Successful candidates are then required to participate in the counseling process conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for seat allotment.
