Overall: Dr Meghnad saha institute of technology is the only government college in haldia.it is very good college for future.faculty, teaching methods, infrastructure are avarage quality.campus area, garden, labs are not good.i am admitted this college because only for placements, it is good.
Placement: Placements are good for carrier.averge package is 15000. The highest package is i have seen 40000 and lowest is 12000.in 6th semester the students are eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure are very good . the faculty are very friendly, students relationship are also friendly, atleast we say the infrastructure are good.
Faculty: The faculties to students ratio 5 5:100.very friendly, helpful for us.the teaching methods of faculties are good.student facilities relationship is very good.
Hostel: I am not staying in hostel because my house is near of my college,but as i saw, the hostel building is very old and dirty so there are very few are stay in the college hostel.
ReportOverall: The academics and the curriculum is nice. The professors are well trained in there respective subjects. The development and syllabus is all updated and well framed. The academic life in the university is outstanding.
Placement: 90% to 95% students get placement. Every one get placement in top company like L&T,Tata Power,etc. Max time they get permanent post in my batch 97%get placement.
Infrastructure: College Infrastructure. Infrastructure of the college is good enough to the college to make their future brighter.and also the place is good...and average quality
Faculty: There are not many faculty member..But the faculty members are very high knowledgeable in there own subjects. They take care of students inside or outside the college.
Hostel: I go to college from my home...I am local student so I can't give review on hostel..but as I know hostel quality is very poor. The food quality and room quality is very low
