Overall: I completed my M.Sc. in Chemistry from Chandigarh University, and overall, it was a good learning experience. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and always encourage students to do research and participate in seminars. The laboratories are well-equipped with modern instruments which helped in gaining practical knowledge. The campus environment is vibrant with plenty of events and activities. Hostel facilities and food were decent too. While placements for Chemistry could be better, the university supports students in preparing for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for M.Sc. Chemistry at Chandigarh University is quite impressive. The hostel has Wi-Fi, laundry services, AC/ non AC rooms available and 24/7 security The mess food is decent with a proper menu and hygienic conditions. There is also a medical facility available on campus for emergencies. Overall, the hostel environment is peaceful and safe, making it easy to focus on studies and settle in comfortably.
Overall: My experience in Chandigarh University for Msc chemistry was okaish it was not that great . Teachers here are PhD scholars and provide all the relevant information needed .there are complete regular classes along with best lab facilities .
Placement: I can't guarantee placements in Msc but placement for cs are quite good . They focus on increasing number of students placed without thinking where the student is being placed for right job / designation
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University is known for its great buliding design and innovation . There designs are simple but unique along with well connected roads , erikshaw facilities for staff not students.
Faculty: All the facility is PhD scholar or professor with good experience . They make us learn the concepts with proper presentation . They study the concepts themselves before explaining in class
Hostel: Hostels in Chandigarh University are good . They have good facilities like inbuilt gym with proper trainers .the only downside of hostel is food quality is not satisfactory . Some hostels have better food and Many have worst food
