Overall: Chandigarh University boasts a comprehensive infrastructure catering to academic excellence, research, sports, and student well‑being. Its campus is impressive and well-equipped, though certain hostel hygiene and operational issues may need attention. Overall, it offers a modern, holistic environment ideal for both in-depth learning and extracurricular growth. Nice infrastructure vibes of this college.. Great college in chandigarh for engineering.I am a civil engineering student faculties are decent but all over good I will give 4 star for this college
Placement: Chandigarh University excels in placement volume and brand presence ideal for students in high demand fields like CSE and MBA thanks to curated industry connections.High packages are often concentrated among top tier students others may face stiff competition or limited opportunities.
Infrastructure: What a nice infrastructure of chandigarh university. Modern AV-enabled, well-ventilated classrooms seating 60+ students, complemented by seminar halls and departmental auditoriums
Faculty: Many faculty members hold PhDs from reputed institutions (IITs, NITs, abroad) and include industry veterans, bringing both academic depth and practical insight.
Hostel: Separate boys and girls hostels with AC/non‑AC rooms, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, power backup, gyms, indoor games rooms, music rooms, salons, common areas, night canteens, and guest rooms .

Hostel: It is hostel like heaven in cu . It most ever feeling I spend my days in hostel are very cool and also i suggeated to choose hostel not go flats and pg.
Overall: Friendly and knowledgeable faculty, modern infrastructure, positive hostel life, and, good placements. If I were to summarise my experience at the university, then these are the first words that come to my mind. I am a B.Tech graduate from Chandigarh University. At present, I am working at IBM as a software engineer. While CU offers many courses, MBA and B.Tech are considered the flagship courses of the university. The overall college environment is very positive and enriching. There is a blend of learning and fun found at the university. On-campus hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls.
Placement: The placements at Chandigarh University are good. The placement cell starts our placement training in the final year of the course. Guest lectures are held, mock interviews are conducted as well as other activities are done for the students. The average CTC is around Rs 9 LPA and the overall highest CTC is Rs 50 LPA.
Faculty: All of my professors were dedicated towards lectures and assessments. The assignments they gave us were not just theory-based but also had practical learning. Some of the teachers were pursuing their PhD along side while some had research papers published under their names. The course curriculum was much better as compared to some other counterparts.
Hostel: Hostels are easily available on the campus. The hostel fees is roughly between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh depending on the type of room you choose. So rooms are available in 1-seater to 5-seater options for boys, while for girls there are only 3-seaters and 4-seaters. This is one of the major drawbacks in my opinion. Apart from that if you are okay to share the rooms, the hostels have other facilities like a shopping centre, a common area, a sports field built separately for hostellers, as well as an ATM and sick room.
Overall: Chandigarh University has been ranked as the 2nd best university among all the private universities in India by the recent rankings of QS Asia 2023 which is a reputed ranking source. The university offers more than 200 UG, PG, and, PhD courses like BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Arch, BA, BBA, BBA LLB, B.Com, B.Com LLB, BCA, B.Des, BFA, etc. The B.Tech course is the most in-demand course of the university which also has high placement rates. The admissions are based on the scores obtained by students in the CUCET exam which stands for the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test. Moreover, few people know that Chandigarh University is the official Coordination Office of the UNA in India. The university is ranked and approved by many ranking bodies like UGC, NAAC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, and many more on the list.
Placement: The Chandigarh University’s highest package is Rs 54.75 lakh per annum for domestic offers and Rs 1.7 crore for international offers. The university has exceptional placement records every passing year. For the 2022 batch, more than 6100 job offers were received. This is an excellent number and the highest in India. The maximum placements are bagged by the B.Tech CSE students, however, other course students are also placed in reputed firms.
Infrastructure: The Chandigarh University campus has many facilities to offer. The entire campus has 13 libraries which include one central library and 12 libraries situated in different academic blocks. There is a rich collection of more than 85,000 books and 850000 e-books. CU Mohali also has restaurants and cafes operational on campus. The CU campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with an attached mess. There are 11 computer labs at the campus with new and improved technology. Several sports facilities are also available at Chandigarh University for the student's holistic development. These include Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Tennis Court, Volleyball and Boxing.
