The consequences of rejecting a seat in the AIIMS BSc Nursing round 2 are that students will lose their security deposit, and they will not be able to take part in the further counselling process. As students will not be able to take part in the further counselling rounds, they will have to wait until next year to get a seat through AIIMS BSc Nursing Counselling and reappear for the exam.

Will an Open Round be Conducted After AIIMS BSc Nursing Round 2?

The AIIMS authorities will conduct an open round after the round 2 counselling process, online only if the seats are available. The seat matrix released every year decides if the open round counselling for the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam will be conducted or not. Often, the open round counselling process is not conducted, as there are no seats available in the counselling process. Yet, if the open round counselling is conducted, then students who have previously been fortified can take part in the counselling process. Further, students who were not allocated seats in the previous rounds will also be eligible to take part in the open round counselling process.

Students if not want a seat in round 2, can reject a seat and wait for the next round. Yet, if they fail to do so and do not show up at the allocated college, then they are held responsible for losing their seats by the exam authorities. Therefore, the exam authority asks them to pay a penalty amount of Rs. 1 Lakh.

Dear Student,

For JENPAS UG 2025, most of the questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology come from your Class 11 and 12 NCERT syllabus. Focus more on Biology, as it carries the highest weightage.

  • Biology: Human physiology, genetics, ecology, reproduction, diversity of living organisms, cell biology.
  • Chemistry: Organic chemistry basics, biomolecules, chemical bonding, equilibrium, coordination compounds.
  • Physics: Mechanics, optics, waves, laws of motion, thermodynamics, modern physics.

Stick to NCERTs for concepts and practice MCQs daily. Biology should be your top priority, but don’t ignore the basics of Physics and Chemistry.

Thank You
